Question does my computer need to be reflashed???

well guys im adding to an additional post but i have a 03 f250 6.0L i was driving and all of a sudden it dies and i cant get it to crank, i was told try the fuse box, after $240 later no luck. i tested all wires and there good, ignition all get power, relays and fuses are good, when the car is in start position im not getting power to the starter wire(yellow w/lt blue) from the fuse box (relay is good) but if i jump the relay the truck will crank and i have good power to the starter wire, power is getting everywhere possible except from the relay to starter wire, unless i jump the relay, otherwise no crank, its almost like the relay is bad but its not, so do you guys think it might be a computer problem or might i need a computer reflash?

It doesn't sound like a reflash issue to me - I guess it could possibly be a bad PCM. I'm sorry, but I am at a loss of what it could be though.

well Bismic its not fixed yet but i did find the problem, my #22 (pcm fuse) keeps blowing, so i know its a short in a wire somewhere behind that fuse which is most of the harness, so im going to have to follow lots of wires and look for the trouble, thanks for all your help and wish me luck.

I certainly do - I hope it is easy for you. Personally, I really do hate electrical problems.

I gonna assume you mean fuse f2-22?
I thought I cover on how to test fuses by pulling them out and check the with a dvom, That would have saved you $250.

Now on to you issue. the 2 most common for that fuse are the cooling fan and the gear shifter wiring.
cooling fan is easy. look at it. if the wire is cut odds are that your issue. also they like to get cut if the waterpump is failing if this is the case and you find it cut IMO replace both pump and fan cluth.
to check the shifter handle remove the shroud on the collum and look at the harness were it comes out of the shifter and were it rest on the collum. if this is the case replace the shifter handle.
