Misfiring 06

I have had a small shutter at idle. It finally got bad shaking the whole truck on the interstate. Check engine light came on, I pulled cylinder 5 code. I replaced coil pack and plug which was fouled. It is much better and the check engine light is off. I can not pull any new codes. It still shutters a little at idle and hesitates between 30 and 50 mph? Any ideas? I am thinking of replacing the injector but I hate throwing money at this just guessing.

I just got my truck back from after a week of it acting up and being in the shop. I got the plugs changed and it was acting up after that. It ran fine before the change. They guy that changed them said take it to this other guy I think its the timing. Well it wasnt and he said it was the fuel injector. Just got it back today and it seems to run better now. The guy said before I put the injector in it was misfiring and spark knocking and had no power. He said he changed it and the power was back. The guy that did the spark plug change tried changing the coil with no luck. My code was P0307 which is cylinder 7 misfire.

I noticed a few months ago that I had a little soot in my tail pipe. So maybe it was running a little rich before it went out. I would say that your injector is probably shot but could be wrong.
