Hey this may seem like a weird question. my bronc runs fine when its worming up and been runnimg for a little while. but after a small freeway dirive(9-12 miles) it has a really rough idle and kinnda stalls itself out of running in mid range (some times it will jump from 1000rpms to 3000 when i try to smoothly excelorate). now my opwn guess is that its the spark plugs and wires, but i have herd that it could be the timming? but then wouldnt it be consitantly bad runnimg? any guesses?
i had recently tried to pull the codes and autozone would notr due it due to my truck not having a check engine light. do you need to know that there is somthiong wrong with it before you can pull them??? im confused.
i think that i should add that also when ever i run it through water (last time i was in goldbar) i would drive away from the trail but after i have driven a good distance down the road, my trucks idle gets really ruff and dose things such as nocking itself out of overdrive due to shaking and not wanting to rev up over 1500 rpms (i would try to give it gas but it would just shake really bad for a little bit and eventually kill itself when in gear) it runs fine when its in P or N. dose this happen to anybody elses EFI Systems? what do you think it could be?
