After several requests here is what you want to know.
Call - BAK Industries at (818)-365-9000 and ask to speak to Ivan, Tell him you want the "Heavy Duty, Super Mr. Clean Gaston Mugnier special 4" thin board mod" for your 2011 super duty 6'-9" bed (Or it can be modded for the long bed as well - just be sure to let him know. with this info he will know EXACTLY what you are refering to) - also be sure tell Ivan that Gus as most people call me - says to say hi from New Orleans and I am waiting for our fishing trip whenever he is ready... Then get on the Internet and find the cheapest place including shipping where you can get a UWS model number TBC-55-W (Note: Add Blk to the product code for the black finish, or it will come in the natural silver aluminum finish.) Also of note: this is the only box that had the correct dimensions to fit with the cover closed. I actually prefer the Weather Guard steel version - but no cigar it won't fit. (I tried with many boxes! - I still have one in my garage!!!) Next you are going to need special griptite fasteners for holding the box securely in the bed. There are many ways to do it but be aware that there is only one right way. (I hope you realize that I spent immense amounts of time first of all getting BAK Industries to agree to custom make my cover (Julian avoided most of my calls after the first 3 weeks and then I got transfered to Ivan) well after the cover was done I actually bought 4 boxes before I found one that fits properly. Well a similar situation occurred with the bolt down method as the position of the box is not where you can attach to the frame. So trust me and continue to the next step. Call Knaack Mfg. at 1-800-456-7865 and order a "755 bolt kit for the 1450/1475" - make sure to ask if the special tool is included - (Mine was) - There you go - that is the whole shooting match - I would order everything at the same time as it will take time to receive these bulky items - Let me know how Ivan is doing - OK?
