fuel tank
my fuel tank has developed a leak and the fuel gauge never worked.i have a poly tank and a sending unit off of a gas truck will it work?

check out lmc truck parts. find the part number for a gasser and find the part number for the diesel and see if they are the same. not many people here have a poly tank, mostly steel here. there was one asking about it, but i dont think hes gotten the chance to try it out yet

i never tought of that. i looked and the tank should work but the sending unit wont.

well, the sending unit on gassers have fuel pumps in them, diesel is a mechanical fuel pump.
