Headlight Removal a joke

I can't get that bottom squeeze tab to push through.
Blank it T Blank Blank!

Bulb socket is fried. I just pulled/stretched the harness to cut strip for replacement.

Upper clips are no fun either. Maybe rubber is old and stiff after 14 yrs.

Thanks fur listening. LOL

All right I replaced the socket and through in some new Xtravision bulbs.
Very nice improvement from old tired Korean made bulbs I took out.

Socket was definetly loosing current to that side burnt up.

Anybody know the trick to getting that bottom squeeze holder through the hole??

Did you pull up on the metal clips to remove the headlamp assembly? The top two remove completely and the bottom one slides up in place.

I use a deep 14mm 12pt socket around the lower retainer to depress the tabs while applying some pressure to the back of the headlight, it pops right out.
