HELP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I currently live in a suburb of chicago and i cant find a dealership or shop that provides quality workmanship. My 2001 Ford Expedi is starting to make a whining noise while accelerating. Its getting worse and worse and all the dealers that I have gone too claim that it is normal. Does any know of any local dealers/shop that can actually fix a problem????? Any info or direction would be appreciated.
i used to work at a Ford dealership and had to try to figure out the same issue... on a explorer... under heavy excelleration it whined, it was either the brake hanging up or the wheel bearing, i cant remember... i know it doesnt solve your problem but i hope it helps
i've had good luck at Libertyville Lincoln Mercury,I had a 98 bfore my 2003 and was told the rear brakes could drag after a few years due to rust and crud. Talk to Jamie the service writer,he's a good guy and has helped me a lot.
I've bought 4 cars from them and had them serviced there.
