94 f350 trans problem

ok guys..i have a 94 f350, 4x4,7.5l with an e4od..the truck was beat pretty hard and then parked for about a year,i purchased it without being able to testdrive...anyway one of the repairs i had to do is the wiring harness going to the trans was all chewed up..while doing the brakes and front axle, i changed the trans fluid/filter, found no debris in the pan..now if i drive it, reverse works fine..but if i try to take off in drive it acts like its slipping...but if i start in 1st and manualy shift up..it works ok..and the same if i start in 2nd...i havent had a chance to check the mlps yet, but i did the self test that you do without it running, and got these codes 621,622,624,626,629,637 and 539...can anyone help? i am not sure if these were "stored" codes or not...

All of those codes are electrical faults for circuits that are in the wiring harness going to the transmission. I suspect you didn't fix the wiring harness correctly. None of the codes are for the MLPS.
