Yes a v10 does produce more power then a 5.0
Current 5.0 is 412 hp (307 kW) @ 6500 rpm, 390 lb·ft (529 N·m) @ 4250 rpm Coyote
Current 6.8 is 362 hp (270 kW) and 457 lb·ft (620 N·m).
The rpm is much lower on the 6.8 then the 2011 5.0.
There is never a replacement for displacement
But that 5.0 does look nice.

I understand I think. I'm slowly learning that every engine built doesn't nesscericaly have the potenial for racing/showing off lol. I'm just curious though, has anyone attempted a "performance" build on the V10?

you dont really see them modd'd into race engines..
the motor was built as a work engine, and in that capacity it does a excellent job..
