yes but its not like a diesel truck. i have both a Super chip and a custom tuned SCT and i cant stand the SCT at all! The SCT has better options and is a little faster but the Super chip defiantly has wwwaaayyy more seat of the pants power and so far is getting better mpg's then the SCT did. Either way do your own changes in the options the truck will run much better this way

Your best bet with just about any tuner is get a set of custom tunes... Mike @ 5-star is a sponsor of the V10 and 6.2L forums, and he definitely knows his stuff. If you find anything you don't like about the tune, he'll adjust it and email you a new one that you can upload from your computer to the tuner. All the while, being able to backup the tunes you already have so you can go back to the original (custom) tune if you want to.
I once did the "canned" tune thing for my '96 t-bird - it was OK - but nothing like the custom tunes I got from Mike for my V10. Amazing...
