I have a 2006 F150 supercrew. Out of the blue I noticed a vibration going down the road that I could feel through the steering wheel and every where else. After I left the store I was going to I did not feel it all the while I was driving home. Any ideas?
By chance were you on a different surface when you left the store? Meaning a different pavement type, maybe a different lane?
I know of a few places here in my town where the pavement/asphault looks smooth, but it will generate slight vehicle vibrations.
If it's a freak, one time, thing I would contribute it to the roadway. If it continues, then it could be a number of things. Start with getting a rotation and balance.

It is definately not the road, these are roads that I travel all the time on, and this was a very pronounced vibration not caused by road conditions.
i agree with sako 75, i was going thru the same symtoms for about a mile down the road, and noticed that my ebrake wasnt fully disengaged. i reset it and it was good after that
