I have a 2001 Ford F250 SuperCrew 5.4 V8 4x4
My 4x4 is out and i've had the diagnostic run to determine its a bad GEM.
I was wondering where exactly is the GEM located?
And is it easy to take out?
Will the car run with it out?
I've been told that after I replace it I need to flash it, is this something I can do myself or dealer only?
The dealer gave me this product Id # for it: IC3Z14B205EA
But non of my local salvage yards have been able to cross-match that with any of their parts. So i'd like to pull it out and bring it to them.
