electric trailor brakes

i wanto put an electric brake controller on my 78 f150. so far i have not been able to find one that you can just "wire up". the ones i have seen are "plug and play". how difficult is it to wire one of the controllers up and where can i get one?

they are very easy to wire. just buy a plug and play and cut the end off the end that is supposed to plug into the vehicle

Super easy, the only "catch" is running a new Blue brake wire to the trailer plug.
