98-e250 headers
so i have two broken studs that are seized to hell and a cut egr pipe seized in it. drilling the studs is a possibility.
The passenger manifold is the same as a f-250 but the driver is different, the egr pipe comes out differently and the angle of the flange is different. so shorties will not bolt in but will long tubes work? i was told the chassis were the same on the LD f-250's. does anybody know for sure, im considering getting the OBX long tubes with the crossover pipe.
BTW i live in oklahoma so we don't have emissions tests.
after looking at a co-workers 03 5.4 F-150 i decided the truck was a lot tighter than the vans exhaust and at long as it clears the truck i should clear.
ill use the stock 2.5 y pipe and maybe a thrush turbo muffler later for the stock 3" tail pipe.
ill have a y-pipe made at the local exhaust shop.
i'll be happy with it when it's all said and done. i bought it for 1000 with a knocking rod.
