1999 v10 PI head swap

I have a set of 03 pi heads and a 2000 intake manifold, wich intake gaskets do I use, I see the part #'s are different for the 2000 than the 03's. also will the exhaust manifolds work from the 99's? the ones that came with the heads have no egr fitting. thanks for any help!!

That's weird, there should be no difference between 2000 and 2003.

Not sure about the exhaust manifolds - look up the gasket part numbers and see if they are the same

I put my '99 exhaust manifolds on my PI heads. Ports lined up fine.

V10 PI head Swap problems

First time posting...

Just swapped 2000 PI heads, intake, and 2003 manifolds on my 99 F-350.
Heads had valve job, surfaced, and helicoils prior to install. also has custom tune .
Ran great for 5 days then developed a miss. pulled plugs (Motorcraft Platinums) and the plugs were melted. installed NGK TR6 plugs, pulled and reinstalled tune with added 4% fuel and -2 timing according to mechanics and tuners suggestion. ran good for a day and miss has returned at low RPM and under down hill load at zero throttle.

any help would be appreciated

I hope the sparkplug thread inserts are aluminum and not steel.

What sort of tune is it or who created it?
