Pop, for the record, my 1999.5 ZF6 has the trans cooler built into the radiator and there are two cooler lines running from just behind the bell housing to those ports.
But yours isn't a 250 or 350, so that may be why.
After years and years of having a lower tank cooler on all kinds of vehicles, it sure seems strange that when they introduced the SuperDutys they deleted that (seemingly very important) part. Of course, real-world conditions forced them to add it back in 2000, and they haven't tried that again.
After more investigating (scared the hell out of me thinking no tranny cooler) mine is built in and runs to the back of the housing as well. I will be doing the 6.0 swap soon I hope.
