question about gauges

In the middle of hooking up oil and fuel pressure gauges. While i wait for my sending unit lines, I hooked up the power in the fuse panel, etc. The gauges now light up,,, yipeee.. question is,, will it hurt the gauge to be on this way. (needle pinned to the max) because its not complete. Didnt want to mess the gauge up until the rest of the stuff came in... thanks.. Herb

Why not be on the safe side and leave them disconnected.

well, thats why i asked.. i think they look good,, but if it will hurt anything,, i'll just take the ground off.

hey question. with these "add-a-fuse" things. when you remove the existing fuse,, install the "add-a-fuse". do you install the normal fuse along with a 2nd one or just the original does it????. it has a place for two. thanks.
