Help! I bought a 50 Ford F1 "project". In trying to adjust the clutch pedal I realized the return spring was not attached. After searching through the "extra" parts that came with it I found the spring. I have found where the spring attaches at the clutch and where it goes through the crossmember but where does the other end attach?

HI and welcome to FTE!
I'm a little confused with your wording - it sounds like you answered your own question.
But just to reiterate, one end of the spring attaches to the pin (7533) running through the end of the release arm clevis rod (7521) on the clutch pedal release arm (7503) and the other end attaches to the transmission cross memember to the right of the pedal assy bracket.
Just FYI, the brake pedal spring attaches to the pedal and a tab bolted the flywheel housing (front half of the "bell housing") just below the clutch release shaft. The brake pedal spring is longer (so if yor spring is too long to attach to the cross member it may be the brake pedal spring.)
