C6 Leak Question...

C6 Leak Question...
Was chasing leaks today and came across where i think a small transmission leak is occurring on my truck.
When looking at the tailshaft forward, there is a bolt, about 11/16 maybe, on the passenger side of the transmission, The bolt is facing rearward.
What does this bolt do? Can i swap it out with out hurting the C6?
This bolt is much newer than everything else under the truck. It is very shiny and almost looks SS. All the other bolts are older and weathered and dirty looking, this one bolt is very shiny. it is not like the rest of the bolts in shape either. Most of the transmission bolts have a washer like surface on them so they want back out.This one odd bolt has nothing on the back, not even a washer and is leaking trans fluid very slowly.

Is the vacuum modulator clean like it was replaced recently? The O-ring may have fell off during replacement or got pushed back so it won't seal.
