A generic set of tools are already in the truck. I would like to know where to get replacement jack and tire iron, since the truck was jack and iron delete.
well i guess all is ok then, found it zip tied to brake master cylinder with relatively new looking ties. Made me say,....Hummm? Checking fuel filter now, any other must do's would be greatly appreciated........................Whats the best wat to post photos either from outside website or from computer hard drive?
Removed fuel filter and found Fram Part# CS8629A. Is this a quality filter, or should I look for better replacement. Also is there an oil/water seperator? I have to assume so. To my recolection the '07 6.0L had fuel filter and water seperator intgrated in one assembly.
After you have 25 posts, you can publish photos here. The best way is to put them in a "gallery", then use the link to them and they display in the thread. Additionally, if you lose your account at the photo hosting site, the photos go away here for guys looking in the future. Putting them in your gallery makes them a little more perminant.

Fuel water drain is the little yellow handle on the rear of the filter bowl.
There are much better fuel filters than Fram. Donaldson/Racor, Baldwin, even Wix.....

Brandon, cheap effective mods that cost little to no money are great...the CCV mod will help keep the oily residue out of the intercooler, pipes, and boots...the 50 cent mod will ensure that the UVCH ( Under the Valve Cover Harness) never comes loose...the max a/c, ranger valve mod will make the a/c even colder and stop the cold/warm cycling while driving...the 6637 is a debateable mod because it will make the truck louder...the muffler delete is also debateable bc it also makes the truck louder...i had really good luck with the OEM replacement brake rotors from Advance Auto...they were @ 1/2 the stealership price...there is also the EBPV (Exhaust Back Pressure Valve), you can simply unplug the sensor at the base of the turbo and that should not give you any issues anymore...and the red line delete, just pull the red tube off the top rear of the turbo and plug it with something like rubber vacuum caps, whatever it does, it gives you a seat of the pants difference...
Dang, i hope all that helps a little...at least it's all cheap...as for buying guages and pretty much anything else for a mod or repair, call or PM Clay from RiffRaff...you can't beat his knowledge and service after the sale...and he's a sponsor here so that helps...
Thanks David for the input. I know you're watching your pocket book as am I. If I had unlimited $ I'd have a signature like no one else, but, Ii'm living like no on else, so that latrer, I can live like no one else"...Dave Ramsey....
Brandon,
Looking through this post I see no one has said anything about your CPS(cam position sensor) take a look at it and see what color it is, if it is gray than you have the one Ford put in for the recall, If it is Black you may still have the OEM one. I would cheak with the PO and see if they had the recall done. Iwould also get a new one and put it in the glove box along with a 10mm wrench just in case it goes out on the road.

Way cheaper than a tow bill!
The CPS is at the 10 oclock position on the front end of the engine by the crank.
