about 1/2 done with the salsa. I have 58 pint jars done. I would have over 100 done but the 6 gallons of tomatoes I had diced got too warm and soured (real quickly) so not going to be an abundance this year.
I finally broke down and built shelves in the laundry room, enough space to hold 700 pint jars.

It's Tuesday and back to work for me!

When you do start selling your salsa Bart, I'll be in line for some too!

Afternoon all. Anybody looking forward to the forecast rain tonight and tomorrow? I'm not believing it until I see it. I haven't driven my new truck on slick streets yet. Could be fun.

Good Evening Everyone. I owned a mobile Texas Style Barbecue business with a lady from Austin TX & her son. It was fun but a lot of work. We use to smoke cases of Ribs & Brisket. for shows. We would start cooking on Wednesday for a Saturday show.
Well, Bill I'm waiting for you to come paint my shop. Ha Ha, About 800 sq ft only half is getting painted. I finished the tape & texture tonight. So tomorrow the paint goes on then the work bench & shelves. Might finish this week next for sure. Then I have a roof to redo. the wind tore half of it off sometime in the last 10 years. Then repaint a couple of the buildings I'm caught up. Ho No I have a bathroom to replace all the plumbing in at my moms & one of my old customers when I worked for a living wants me to fix some small things around her house. Oh well.
I heard the President today present a Metal of Honor to the sons of a Vietnam Veteran. That died in action on a top secret mission in Laos. It was a nice presentation & it is about time the Vietnam Veterans get their recognition. It about 40 years over due.
