Ok, just a follow-up on the butt-dyno. I took the truck up over Parley's Canyon east of Salt Lake City (I-80) and stayed the weekend with the family in Park City. Funny, because we could have taken my wife's Mazda CX9 but when we asked the kids which car, it was unanimous for the Super Duty. My wife said, "I guess I've been relegated to soccer and school pick-up taxi now." lol I just shrugged my shoulders and we threw all the bags and coolers in the back of the truck. But I digress...
I can't say as I "feel" any real power difference. But that's pretty much impossible to tell without a trailer. The truck is a rocket as it is and I'm not sure I can distinguish between a rocket and rocket + 10%. There was too much traffic up the 8% grade to really open it up so no story to tell there. What I can say is different is the transmission is hardly recognizable. The factory tune made the tans shift pretty harshly and the new tune makes it shift so smoothly. I'm kind-of torn between the "truck-y" shifts and the new "car-like" shifts. Matter of preference but I'm sure I will appreciate the new shift strategy more and more.
Another thing is I swear the mileage has improved more than expected. I reset the instant gauge going east and got 17.3 up and over the pass to the resort. Then I reset on the trip back home and got, sit down for this, 28.7 mpg. Before you call BS, those of you who know the freeways east of Salt Lake City will understand. It's one of the nation's steeper grades. SLC is 4,200 feet above sea level and Park City is 7,000 feet ASL. So clearly each way will have a huge impact on mileage. Time will tell if overall mileage proves out to be better. I keep really good records with each fill-up.
I also love the trans gear display staying on. It's the little things...
I hear ya on the service, although I have to admit Machado, on US1, service department does treat me pretty decent. There's a ford dealership here in Key West that absolutley sucks, so I don't mind driving the 140 miles one way for an oil change and gives me a reason to get off the island for a day............oh well a little off topic, but what the heck it's Sunday...........have a Good One........Looks like a good beer drinkin day today
Buddy...spoke with the service mgr. (Fred) at Gus M. yesterday....took the truck in this morning, in 45 mins. I was out of there, with the new flash....great folks, awesome service, very hard to find that kind of service in Miami....truck seems to shift even smoother.

Thanks to you and Epic for the help.
That's excellent man, glad they took care of you.....makes me even more anxious to get up there to get mine done, unfortunately my work sked won't let me get up there until the week of the 27th.
So far, they (Gus Machado of Kendall) are why I drive 140 miles one way for them to do the oil change.
Keeping "Epics" thread going........Got my flash Just had the "Flash" completed on my truck, and I can only say that the power enhancemants are definately noticeable plus the average mpg seem to have increased, in my case from 19.1 to 22.6 based on the "lie-o-meter".
