Does anyone know what the typical MAF sensor reading would be in lb/m at wide open throttle on flat ground in a 1999 F250 superduty with the 6.8L 2V V10? I am seeing around 24 lb/m and am wondering if the MAF sensor is accurate.
Reading taken during test run for timing 0 to 60 mph with the go pedal all the way to the floor. RPM seems to max around 5000 rpm before shifting. Truck is completely stock. Saw MAF readings in the 24 lb/m range with possible brief peaks up to 25 lb/m.
The reason I ask is the truck seems like it might be a little sluggish in that test. It consistently takes it about 13 seconds to reach 60 mph. I get the impression from the stuff I've seen on the net that it should perhaps be able to do it in around 10 sec.
Other than that possible issue, I can't complain. The engine runs and idles smoothly. Truck is 1999 F250 Superduty crew cab long box with 4x4 and 4R100 automatic and 6.8 L V10.
