IDM-100
F6TF-12B599-AA
more stuff on the IDM but I'm thinking this is what I need?
What other years if any would be good enough to get it just to run and not hurt anything do you guys think?

Any IDM for a 7.3 1996 - 2003 will work. The newer ones are a higher voltage. If you can find a IDM 120 for the same money, jump on that.

How much do they usually get for one from the bone yard? I see them reman on Ebay in FL for 139.00?

I just emailed the guy with that IDM to see if he'd care if I just stop by to pick it up, a short trip for me, he's just over in Romeo about 20 mins or half hour from me... that would work nicely.

Well, bought it and pick it up tomorrow AM, how's that for working out nicely?
7.3L Powerstroke Injector Drive Module IDM: eBay Motors (item 200515348161 end time Sep-03-10 20:45:37 PDT)
Oh yeah and he told me he got it out of a crashed truck that he has there with a whole drive train and more. Will see it tomorrow and report.

No, the OBS trucks have a mechanical fuel pump that works off the cam. No pressure unless you crank the motor.
