Need Transmission Help!
I left work today in an easy driving manner and I felt a clunk. Thought I lost a u-joint; but it want that. Have no reverse and my forward gears are limited 1st and 2nd cant get over 20mph a 2k rpm. If I do mannage to get her in to overdrive she just slipps like mad. Put in a John Wood valve body and Ams oil back in June along with new filter. Any ideas? I have heard pump and TC along with new flex plate.

The pump, flex plate, and torque converter all do the same thing in reverse and all forward gears. It's impossible for any of them to only work in some gears but not in others.
Something broke in the direct clutch. That clutch is used for reverse, third, and fourth (overdrive) gears.

That is one of the clutches inside the transmission. It is applied when the transmission is in 3rd gear, 4th gear, and reverse. If it doesn't work you don't have 3rd, 4th, or reverse.
