Hey guys, i've been wondering if there is a 2 inch lift kit out there for an 89 bronco. I just want a little lift, i'm not a big off roader. i've seen a bunch of 4 and 6 inch kits but not really any 2s so if anybody has any info then that would be great.
Have you thought about a leveling kit?? I just installed a 1.5" kit from Rough Country on my 96, and I love it. Sits dead flat now! It cost me about $125, plus a new alignment. Whenever Ive been offroad, Ive always worried about the front end articulation over the rear. I believe someone on this list installed a 2" level kit, but dont quote me on that. What exactly are you trying to accomplish? Fit bigger tires? More articulation? Just going for that lifted look? I believe there are 2" body lifts, but IMHO stay away from body lifts. You get what you pay for. Just did a quick search on EBAY...
The latter of the two I purchased (from that same ebayer in fact). I have the towing package from the factory, so I didnt need the add a leaf for mine. Also, Ive heard less than admirable things about coil spacers (seems they fall apart readily). Just something to look at.
yeah i want that lifted look and it might be that i should go with 4 inch but i want to put on 33inchers but i don't want the truck to look like its really lifted with just too small tires. Right now i have 32s and its fine but i want a bit higher ride my truck isn't riding as high as other broncos and pick ups. So i'm not compleatly sure but i figured its worth asking to see if anybody has seem them cuz i havn't seen them. the leveling kit is a good idea thought my front end is saging alittle bit. thanks for the post.
My '92 sits on 33's and a 4" lift from Tuff Country. It looks good and the Tuff Country 4" lift doesn't require the new alignment bushings. In truth, the Tuff Country lift gave me alignment adjustments that were not possible with the factory TTB setup. 2.25+/- degrees caster and camber adjustment for each axle half. (Note that the caster adjustment will only be possible if you go with the longer raduis arms).
Alas, I haven't got a decent picture of mine in its lifted form. I can tell you that mine had the tow package on it before I lifted it and I did NOT put the front and rear sway bars back on it. The handling with the Tuff Country lift even WITHOUT the sway bars is "as good" or better than the stock suspension WITH the sway bars. Hope this info helps in the decision-making process.

I've heard of alot of problems with alignment with the 1.5-2" lift coils. If your factory camber bushings are not "0" degrees, it will be very tough if not impossible (even with new bushings) to keep the front end aligned. A 4-6" lift usually doesn't have this problem.
