The guy claims it is for a 240 / 300
The ad has ID engineering numbers. I don't know it can be translated, but if anyone knows NumberDummy does. 1964 1971 FORD 240 300 6 CYLINDER FLYWHEEL: eBay Motors (item 350340108008 end time Sep-09-10 14:01:19 PDT)

What size engine does your truck have? How many teeth on the flywheel: 164 or 184?
What size clutch does your truck have: 10 inch or 11 inch?
240/300's in F100/350's could have either number of flywheel teeth, or a 10 or 11 inch clutch.
ID engineering numbers can be cross referenced to actual part numbers (casting numbers cannot).
If ID numbers are marked on flywheels, they are listed along with the flywheels in the Text-engine sections (6000) of Ford car/truck parts catalogs.
So if I have an 11 inch clutch would this part fit? The reason I am looking at a new flywheel is I know there are teeth missing from mine, and I cannot find a place to get mine turned for less than this guy wants.
Thanks again for the good info. I knew the 64 part was bunk. 65 was the first 240 I ever heard of.
So if I have an 11 inch clutch would this part fit?

Absolutly not! It's a passenger car flywheel only for a 9 1/2" clutch, the bolt pattern is 10 3/4 inches.

Most 240's I've seen had a 10" clutch...if you have a 300, it's prolly an 11 inch...but who knows after 40+ years what's there today?

How can you bolt an 11 (or even a 10) inch clutch on a flywheel that has a 10 3/4" bolt circle?
You can buy the flywheel ring gear by itself. The old one has to be "sweated off" the replacement sweated on. Autoparts machine shops can do this.
Here is a new one from Autozone. Did the counter guy tell you they have new ones? you cant get it surfaced and re hooped for that.

ND, If I get a new Flywheel that takes a 11" clutch, I can just install it right? The reason I ask is I have replaced every mechanical thing on this truck except the engine, and I plan to put a 300 in it when I do replace the engine. So I would like to have the 11" clutch if possible.

NumberDummy, am I right in thinking that if both 10 and 11 inch clutchs were offered on these 240/300 engines, if I buy all 11 parts, I can bolt them up, and then when I change the 204 out for a 300 I will have a 11 inch clutch as I should. Let me know if you get a chance.
Ford Trucks for Ford Truck Enthusiasts
While the online store and the retail store may be able to look up a part number for a flywheel, when you go into the store they tell you, "We can't get this part anymore." So I ordered a new one from Green sales for twice the price. At least I know the number is right since it came from NumberDummy. Should have it in a few days, and then I can reassemble.
Now I need to get on top of cleaning an painting the parts I took off, like the Bell Housing and the Transmission, and back brace for the tranny. I haven't decided on the Drive Shaft yet. I don't want a show truck, but a rust bucket is too far the other way too.
Looked silly as heck, but I *know* it took a lot of work to tape it off right.
