I had one of those on my engine. I took it off when I was working on the timing cover and never put it back on since the marks on the timing cover were so much easier to use. The original engine had a timing mark on the balancer for both that and the marks on the timing cover.
That piece is now in my toolbox, should I ever need it again for some reason.

I doubt anyone will want the C6TZ-6023-A .. Timing Pointer, considering what it fits.
