I have that god awful bed shake and when I do the tail gate test(drop it), it seems that the leaf springs vibrate. I was curious if the air bags would help reduce the vibration at all. Anyone with them installed notice a difference???
I have replaced the rear shocks, not the front though...I only have 40K on it and I don't think I would need to replace the leafs springs already. As for the tailgate, you open it and drop it and watch the whole bed vibrate (along with the cab). On another note, when I put my quad in the back I get no vibrations at all. I have already read that the truck was probably designed for a load in the back, but I was just curious if the bags would absorb some of the vibration. I would hate to spend $200 bucks on a theory, especially since I don't load it to the max.
They should absorb it that is what they are meant for but I would go and talk with a local shop that installs them before doing it even if you plan to d it yourself.
