you should plan on less than 15 around town and 16-17 on the highway at 65.
3.55 gears will be the best mileage, with slowest power acceleration.
some are lucky and can get 18-19 on the highway, between 60 & 65mph. I can't go 60 in a 70 speed zone.
I have 4x2 dually, 4.10 gears, and get 12.5 around town, and 14.5 on the highway, empty.
4x4's are a little worse, taller gears a little better..
I was looking to trade my dually for a 2010 SRW to get that little increase in mileage empty, but couldn't get a decent trade value.
