Head light problem

Head light problem
While trying to install a pair of LED driving lights, which I still can not get to work, I arced the brown parking light wire with the black ground wire. When this occured the headlights came on by themselves. Now when I turn the switch to just the parking light setting the headlights come on also. What did I do and can I fix this oops. The headlights still come on when turned on which is good, but I would like the option to just use the parking only. Thanks for any help I can get.
