Yes, the decel works better on the manual trucks IMHO. Since you don't have TC slip, when the tune closes the EBPV you get even better engine braking

O.k. that makes sense, I thought it just kept the converter locked longer on auto trannys to aid in engine braking.

The decel tune includes AT tuning for TC lockup, line pressures, etc. It works well! Towing my 25' 5er I can descend an 8% grade with almost no braking.

13.5 unloaded is alot low for a stock truck. I was able to get 19 from mine before I modded it.

Edit: I get 10mpg towing the setup in my sig.... 23k combined, at least 15k over stock (3x stock)

Yea I am not happy with that mpg either, I bought it expecting better than my old 302, but right now $ per mile they are about the same. But it is not stock, from what I see it has the bankd "power pack" minus a chip/tuner, but it gets NO boost. May have found the prob, drivers up pipe is clean except for a spot on the head about the size of half of a $ bill.

Up pipe leaks are bad all around. Bit of a PITA to get in there, but worth it. I used the cheby donuts, Felpro #8194, much better seal than the stockers. And while in there (assuming you remove the turbo rather than doing the donuts from below) great opportunity to do other maintenance or upgrades, all of which should happen before a tuner.
