I have been having ignition problems I have tried everything changed a few cop packs, new boots springs, has anyone heard of these plugs not working in a v10. Most people on this site will tell you that you should stick with the Motorcraft Platinum plugs. For some reason (no, I don't know why) Triton engines are real sensitive to spark plug brand and nothing seems to work as well as what the factory used.
Early issue with Ford engines and Bosch plugs had to do with Ford's "waste-spark" ignition strategy. Bosch even admitted it. However, the V10 does not use that.
Still yet, many people have reported issues with Bosch plugs in the V10 and V8 modular engines.
My advice would be to change them out to Motorcraft plugs or Autolite. Both should be available at Wal-Mart. No real need for double platinum. Single platinum will work fine.
Use anti-seize if you want and tighten anywhere from 8lb ft to 28lb ft depending on who you talk to.
I'd quote the manual but I've seen THREE different values in the manual!
