ok so heres the deal, i got my '87 and its going to be built up like ford might have done it in '87 but im still a "hick" and love togo playin in the mud, i've put my 2wd in some but found out quickly i was out of place, so ive been saving money and looking around im about 200-300 bucks short of this guys asing price, 1989 ford f150 4x4 $1500 obo
it says in his posting that it wants to stall when warm, any ideas if it would be major to fix?
my truck has done this but that was because i had a missfire from hell...

I would stay away from the 95 , it has a carb transplant on it , or a different motor , oil out the dip stick tube , PVC valve , most likely blow by....Lew
May I suggest you look for something with overdrive if it's going to see a decent amount of pavement. Do not buy someone else's problem. I would avoid rust too. There's too many out there(especially in the SE) with out it.... While your at it, find one with MAF if you are still looking to build a motor. Tall order, I know, just be patient and selective.
