Done painting my 95 Powerstroke

Actually I've had it done for a few weeks now but am just getting around to posting an update. Thanks to everyone on these forums that endured my "noobish" questions. I really appreciate it. I think the pickup turned out really nice. There's a few sand scratches that came through and a bit of overspray that I could probably buff out, but it's plenty good enough for me! Not too bad for a first timer either if you ask me. Actually I'm starting body work on another vehicle, so I'll just keep practicing and hopefully will get better.

Pics.
pretty good pic showing reflected light off the side.

Not too shabby eh?

I actually fabbed it myself. Lengthened and strengthened the center drop brackets, then built a front spring mount that drops the front of the springs down 4" and puts the shackles (built them too) at the rear of the spring rather than the front. For the rear of the front springs I just made the 4" long shackle and bolted it into the stock rear hanger.

As for the rear I disassembled the spring packs and rearched the springs with a hydraulic press.

Oh and I bought a dropped steering arm to help with the steering geometry. It was only 2" lower than stock though so I still had to set my toe out to make up the difference. I just did it with a tape measure first, but after I was all done I took it down to the local college where I took classes and put it on their hunter alignment machine and got it set perfect. Oh and my camber on both sides was basically perfect!

Your truck looks great! What brand of paint did you use if you don't mind me asking?

I'll bring my truck down and you can hone your skills on it next.....

I used Dupont Acrylic Enamel. Seemed to work pretty well for me. I was considering using a base/clearcoat system, but decided I'd rather just shoot it a few times with a single stage and be done with it.
