Aftermarket guages

Hey guys. This might be a dumb question, but here goes anyways. I'm looking at hooking up some guages on the A pillar of my F-150 for oil pressure, water temp, fuel pressure, and of course the air to fuel ratio guage.

Question here is for those that have put these guages in your truck where did you put the senders for them? I'm doing electronic guages, not mechanical. I don't like fluids coming in the cab. So do i need to Tee in where the factory oil sender and water temp sensor is or go to a different spot? Thanks guys.

I do have a location for a 4 guage A pillar pod, but i might do a 2 guage A pillar and put 2 guages on the steering column or above the radio. Tachometer will probably be put right beside the A pillar on the dash, but i will have to disconnect it for inspection time so they can put the sticker in place. I want these guages hooked up before the first start so i can see real numbers, not dummy guages.

Put the senders in the factory location. If you want the stock gauges to still work the use a T fitting to run both senders.

Fuel pressure sender can just go on the shrader valve.

Im hoping your going to run a wideband?

Yep the plan is to run a wideband O2, just haven't decided on brand yet. Once i decide which wideband to run then i will get the rest of the guages so that they at least come close to matching.

On the fuel pressure i do not have a shrader anymore, it's an adjustable on the billet fuel rails, but it has a 1/8" NPT port for the fuel pressure guage so that's not a problem. Is the oil pressure sender a 1/8" NPT also? wonder what the coolant temp sensor is size wise.. The coolant temp sender is on the front, driver side of the lower intake correct? If that is the one, i might not be able to Tee on that one b/c that area is extremely cramped on my engine already w/ electrical crap.

Got any suggestions on which wideband to run? I have looked at several different ones, just couldn't make up my mind.

Forgot to add that this is a 5.0L if you don't already know.

AEM or Inovative for wideband.

You can run the coolant temp into the T stat housing also.

Do they make an aftermarket T stat housing for these trucks? I looked at mine last night and it's busted. I need to get on summit and look, but i'm lazy. where would it run into the Tstat housing?

I have looked at the AEM widebands before. I will go look at the Innovative as well and make up my mind.
