Mine did that, I think it is an alignment problem. I only had one cd in there, I carefully slid a knife just a little ways in, lifted the cd slightly while pressing the eject button and out she came. Get the knife out of the way to keep from scratching your cd. Never put another one in after that, Sattelite & iPod for me now.
The best thing for clearing this jam is a pair of tweezers from a Swiss Army knife, If the door is open, Slip the tweezers in there and wrangle the cd out. Once this happens on a OEM 6 disk, it will continue to happen. Pretty much at the least convenient time .
It does seem to be an alignment problem...Mine especially gets stuck when it is very hot outside. What I do is use another CD and wiggle it under the jammed one and fiddle with it until it ejects. PITA...
Hate to say it but once they start doing that it is time for a new unit. They have really nice big screen units, but the new units have moved away from CD’s, unfortunately. They fit in the opening really nice with minimum modification. Some people offer fixes for the OEM units but they usually only last a short time because of the age of the parts they are using. If you go with the upgraded unit, you will really enjoy the sound. Consider new speakers as well.
