cd player problem
I put a pioneer 4500mp cd player in my pickup last year. Well sometimes it doesnt feel like completely ejecting the cd and it has gotten worse. Sometimes it will eject them all the way with no problem, sometimes it will eject it so i can get ahold of it so i pull it slighty and it comes right out. Other times you will not be able to see the cd and i can take a pen and push down on the little piece of the cd sticking out or the little things (flaps or w/e u wanna call them) and the cd will come right out. A friend had the same problem with a sony xplod cd player so he just replaced it. So what is wrong and is there any way to fix it? It does not say any error or anything on the screen either.

i had a blaupunkt that did the same thing, mine was pretty old and i think the ejector motor went out on it, when it ejects it different distances is the Head unit a different temp. or been on a different amout of time? How old is the head unit? If its old your best bet will unfortunately probably be just replacing it. You might be able to get a replacement eject motor, but it might also be a relay problem, or inanotherwords the motor isnt getting the same amount of juice.
