Fuel bowl drain
Noticed my fuel/water drain is leaking again. I replaced it about three months ago and now it's leaking again. Is there a replacement other than oem that works better? I am going on a hunting trip soon and I don't want to be worrying about this as I will be 1000 miles from home.

I'm not sure it is the o rings. It looks like it is leaking from the valve shaft.

Thanks for the info. I still have my old one. I will take a look at it. Any idea what size the third o ring is?

Checked the old on, sure enough there is a third o ring. I will try rebuilding it and replacing the other and then rebuilding it.

Four years is about all you get from a BUNA O-ring. Ask me how I know, or read this:

Get ready. Get the blue ones from Guzzle.
Last replacements you should ever need. They're fluorosilicone. Spec'd for military jet engines. Good enough?

I ordered two sets to keep in the glove box yesterday. One was going to rebuild the valve but I looked again today with the key on and found the filter top leaking. I checked that the other day but nothing showed. This time there was a steady stream. Put new filter, with squared edge oring in and leak is gone. No more beveled edge oring.

That's the one I put in a year ago. No more leaks. Better material than the yellow OEM Buna O rings and only cost a couple bucks more.
