Long story short is that I need to know what size Torx screw is on the tailgate for an 08 F150. As you can see in the pic the tailgate cover started to come off. I was dumping some wood and a nail snagged the tailgate cover. Seems like the the cover goes under the metal plate on the tailgate.

i believe it is a t-10 but i could be mistaken. mine also did this and after replacing the cap to its original position 3 times i ended up putting 4 sheetmetal screws into the cap to help hold it there. no problems since, just my $.02

Just go to Sears and get a full set, you'll need them from time to time.
Or run down the Snap-on gay, you'll pay a lot more, but thay will last forever!
