Low fuel issues...

Low fuel issues...
So, I'm driving down the road, 3/4 tank of gas....and all of a sudden I hear a beep and it shows low fuel in my display, even the gauge drops to passed the E symbol. Few days later, it comes back up. Few days later it does it again, and then comes back up. Anyone know the cause?

Could be an issue with the gauge itself or the wiring to it could have a short in it. Start by checking out the wiring to see if there is a loose connection someplace or a wire that is starting to smolder and burn through. Other then that I am not sure what else to tell you.
