no forward gears
1999 f350-7.3
The truck has about 120,000 miles on it, and has no forward gears. It goes and drives in reverse. The trans filter and fluid was changed about 3 months prior to this happening. It towed a 5th wheel trailer for a few hours prior to any trouble. the first things that happen was it wouldnt shift out of first. but i tried shifting it manually and it went through all gears fine after that for a week and didnt show any signs of trouble. Then one day it had no forward gears at all. It doesnt have any problems at all going into reverse. Is the tranny toast or is it the torque converter?
