78 Chevy Luv

My friend has a 78 Luv with a 4 cylinder and it has been running ok, he's been working on it a little at a time to get it back on the road. Well today he had it running in the yard and I don't know if it overheated first or started smoking first, but anyway it has water in oil now. He called me over to look at it. I pulled the valve cover off and it was solid milky stuck all to the inside of it. I did a compression check on it and the #2 cylinder only had compression of 30, the other three had 140-150. I told him my guess is the head gasket or cracked head. What do guys think? The same?

Sounds about right, typically those Isuzu engines crack the head when they overheat so it's probably done.
