Why can't these engineers come up with the old stand by dashboard ignition slots like the Seville Cadillac has? I mean, it's so much easier to start the vehicle without bending your head up to the dashboard looking for the slot.

 

Probably because the majority of us don't like a dash scratched up by keys and find no difficulty in putting the key in with our eyes closed!
