Brought it home !!!

Well after persuing this site and doing my homework for the past 18 months, i finally got my new baby.

I sold off my old 1988 IDI F-350, along with my cadillac seville sls, and got what i have been dreaming of for a long time. Ive been eyeing this truck at a local dealer for awhile.
Its a 2002 loaded lariat with 53k on the clock. Its so tight its like brand new.
One owner, who was an older gentleman and the truck outlived him.
Now its mine ...

Ain't she pretty?

Sweeeeeeet!!! You'll love it. Best things I've done to my 2002:

In-Tank Mod
6637
guages

Recommend doing the in-tank stuff right away. Then get some guages so you can watch your tranny temps. Then you can go crazy.....

Very nice!! I was in the same boat -- eyeballing the PSDs for over a year before I got mine. Feels good to finally be behind the wheel of your own, doesn't it??

Nice truck. I wish I could have bought mine with low milage like that.

I ended up rushing into my truck and then having to replace the oil pan, 5 u joints, pads/rotors all around and replace the hubs!

So for anyone looking around for a 7.3 read these forums and 7point3.com until your eyes start to go bad and you'll end up with an awesome truck like the one above.

I think you and I bought the same Truck (all but the oil pan so far)

OP - Nice truck and way to be patient on getting what you want. PMS time!

Good looking truck! I guess I was one of the lucky ones. Bought mine brand new off the lot and just realized what I have the last couple of years. Welcome to the club.

I bought mine on Oct. 10, 2006 and by Thanksgiving I had FIVE sets of wheels for it!!! I've had the stock airbox, an AIS, now the 6637, and plan on trying the 6.0 intake this summer. I never thought I'd enjoy PMS, but it's fun to mess around with it!!! LOL

Anyone want to start a pool on how long before he gets bit? hahaha

Congrats on a sweet ride!!
