I would consider editting your profile and stating your location in your "about me" information.

That way you can get advice from those around you, and it's a very easy way to make friends and close contacts on this website.

Another way to find your brethren is to join what's called a "Chapter" on this website.

If you scroll to the top of this page, you'll see the task bar with the following from left to right:

"Home" "Forums" "Models" "Galleries" ... etc

In "Forums" there is a "Chapters" option. I highly suggest you go into the chapters section of this website and find your state/province so that you can join your own local group for help finding:

stores, parts, deals, friends, contacts, etc... The list goes on...

Chapters has been very helpful for many of us because it means we can come even closer together as a community online.

The click-click issue was fixed. As many noted, it turned out to be a faulty battery. I exchanged the battery for a larger new one. My original problem is still present. I am not able to turn over the engine.
So far, I have replaced the battery and the battery cables, the starter and the starter cable, the starter solenoid, the fuel filter and the fuel pump, and the spark plugs and the coil. Many of these things weren't needed to be done, but I figured I would swap some old stuff out for new stuff. It has all been fairly cheap actually. I plan to swap out the fuel tank, sender, and lines as well, just to have newer stuff.

I poured some gas into the carb, but it still wont start. What should I check next to get her started? I will check for spark too, as well as to make sure the new pump is getting fuel to the carb.

I have a feeling the carb may need to be replaced. Is this a diy job?

Thanks!
