ok,,need yalls help again. Was getting ready to order my coolant filter from "Dieselsite" and they are closed until sometime in Sept.
where else would you recommend getting one. I"m sure i could find one somewhere, just want to make sure its a reputable place.. thanks.
The following comes from the DieselSite home page:
* UPDATE*: Since there has already been some confusion, I would like to clarify that most smaller items will continue to be shipped throughout the month. Coolant Filtration Systems will definitely be able to ship before Bob and Sheryl return. If you need confirmation of an order ship date before you place an order, please email me. Thanks, John
yep,, i called "dieselsite" and the guy that answered the phone said that he was still there and could handle the "coolant filter set up".. but......
Am I correct in thinking that "dieselsite" only offers one filter and I was told that the "cut off" valves dont come with the kit. ( for 119.00).
however: "Dfuser" offers a kit for 169.00 which includes the "cut offs" and offers 3 filters. If you do the math. Its about the same price,, what do yall think?????

The DieselSite kit does only come with 1 filter and no cut-off valves. I suppose the cut-off valves would be nice but the last time I changed my filter w/o cut-off valves there was only a minor loss of coolant.
When I ordered my filter from dieselsite.com. I got the coolant filter kit and the two cut offs. I ordered my second filter through adiesel.com for I think like 9 dollars.
mine finally ordered,,i went with DFUSER,, which comes with 3 filters and the "cut offs".. just cant wait for it to come in now,, then i'm on to the "Edge-insight. I"m meeting some resitance with the wife,, but you guys know how they can be.. he he he he Wonder what she'll say after that when its the exhaust. I have to be careful and i'll be living somewhere else..lol
