Temporary PCM swap??
Will a PCM from a 1998 work well enough in my 1995 to test if my PCM is fried? I think I cooked my PCM and I have access to 1998 that i can use just to see if it will run right or at least better.
but you can get pretty much any pcm as long as it matches your tranny.

He can't use an SD PCM at all... the pin-out is different and they are programmed for split shots. He needs an OBS PCM, not late 96 or 97 CA emissions (split shot injectors). If he has a 1998 PCM its likely out of an E-series van.
