Well the truck feels like it has lost power, so I'm trying to figure it out. I've given it a tune up with in the last year, the air filter is good and the fuel filter was changed 6 months ago.
does it feel like it's lost power in the low end, high end, or throughout the rpm spectrum?
I put a new PCV valve in the truck today, it has never had one on and has 155,000 miles. Then I noticed a cracked up vacuum line. I'm not sure what it's for, but it's about a inch and half long and goes to this unit that's mounted on the passenger side of the throttle body and goes into the throttle body. Anyone know what this thing is? It has a couple of other lines coming off it, I can take a pic if anyone doesn't know what I'm talking about.
Anyway the truck seems to be running better, at least around town it feels like it has some power again. The true test is when I get it on the freeway and see how it does when it's up to speed.
