Possible bad pip sensor
Haven't really been able to confirm this,but I just wanted to know if a bad stator aka pip sensor will cause the fuel pump's to not kick on.I'm stumped on this dang truck.The truck will run when the spout located next to the tfi module is unhooked but not very well and rich as heck.Anyone have any ideas on this?

A faulty PIP will not affect the fuel pump operation. What it can do is prevent the injectors from firing. Missing PIP "pulse" will not trigger the PCM to fire the injectors. The same will happen to the ignition, no PIP, no spark. The fuel pump(s) is(are) controlled by the PCM via a relay.
